The Mission
Biblical Greece is a for-profit organization created by a team of Greeks and Americans that fosters relationships between international travelers interested in the New Testament, churches in Greece, and local communities. Through these relationships, travelers learn more about the cultural world in which the New Testament was written, Greek churches collaborate with visitors in various ministries, and local communities are revitalized economically and are given hope. Although known for many years as a tourist destination and a modern nation with a vibrant culture, Greece is not often seen as a destination for Biblical tourism. Greece, however, is the primary location for understanding the historical and cultural environment in which the New Testament was written. Thus, tours offered by Biblical Greece are a perfect educational opportunity for those wishing to learn more about the roots of the Christian faith. Through the affiliations Biblical Greece has with ministry organizations, visitors also have the opportunity to meet local needs by participating in service projects.
